As a cancer suvivor, I realise that the NHS seldom has the time or staff to help with advice on coping with aches, pains and niggles. So on
Friday, April 12th I am hosting a Wellness Day
from 1100 – 1600
at the Village Hall, Dorchester-on-Thames OX10 7HR
Macmillan is funding the venue, (featured in Midsomer Murders!) As a cancer survivor I am committed to making life after cancer as easy and fun as it can be. From skin care to the foods we eat, there are exhibitors wanting to help with advice and information.
See who has signed up so far to be there : https://aftercancers.com/wellness
Do come along if you’re interested – teas, coffees and some nibbles available. And lots of samples, literature and a Tombola (for fun).
Talk to exhibitors about:
Medically-approved treatments to help with long-term side effects after cancer
From La Roche Posay skincare to simple exercises, come and talk about them and their benefits at the Wellness Day.
The NHS constantly says we need to take care of our health; but when we ask “how and where?” hasn’t time or resources to tell us. Now you can find information and discuss your needs with enthusiastic experts.
Therapists will be there to discuss special Yoga, information on handling Osteoporosis and Lymphoedema, and a chance to chat to Macmillan over a cup of tea.
The event is free, and there will be lots of samples.
